I just got Elephone  i9R TV Box last week, here you can see the unboxing. Elephone TV Box is the best looking device in its class so far, with a very chic and fashionable design, and it looks like a champion of home entertainment and conectivity. Next, watch the first impressions about the experience on Android KitKat 4.4.2.

In Antutu Benchmark 5.3 Elephone  i9R TV Box achieves a great score, about 25.000 points. In general the system works without a trace of lag and all the applications tested ran just well, without any crash.

The interface is clean and beautiful, Android KitKat brings a more polished design, improved performance and new features. The firmware came with Play Store and gapps preinstalled. We also have XBMC and WiFiDisplay applications.

The firmware hasn't root acces, although CPU-Z is reporting that it does.

Video playback capability 




As you can see in the above video, Elephone  i9R TV Box managed to play almost all formats and video & audio codecs from the Antutu Video Tester 2.2.

Pros:
 - nicest design in its class;
- amazing video player capabilities
- Power On/Off button
- Build in 5MP camera and microphone
- good price 

Cons: 
- the processor is not the most powerful on the market, but it does the job skillfully. It would be nice to upgrade it to Rockchip RK3288.
