Powered by Snapdragon 835, Motorola’s Z2 Force Edition can reach Gigabit LTE speeds

This week, Motorola launched the Moto Z2 Force Edition, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform with X16 LTE.

The Moto Z2 Force Edition breaks through the limitations of traditional smartphones, with a super sleek, full metal design, a screen that’s engineered not to crack or shatter, dual rear cameras that work together for awesome, professional-looking photos, superior battery life, and the power to do more with Moto Mods — including the new 360 Camera Moto Mod.

And that is not all. Thanks to the integrated Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, the Moto Z2 Force Edition supports Gigabit LTE — the latest generation of 4G LTE technology that provides for peak download speeds up to 1 gigabit per second. Simply put, it sports the most advanced cellular technologies you can get in a smartphone today.

Having these technologies in the Moto Z2 Force Edition allows you to tap into the fastest possible data speeds on U.S. networks today, and even faster ones tomorrow. The four largest mobile operators in the US are in the process of upgrading their networks with most or all of these technologies, including combining them to achieve full Gigabit LTE capability. These upgrades will allow them to deliver faster download speeds and higher capacity than was previously possible. To take advantage of these faster speeds, you need a phone that supports the technologies that make them possible.

So stream, download, share, and be entertained to your heart’s content. With Gigabit LTE inside the Moto Z2 Force Edition, you have the speed you need to unlock its full potential, and shatter the limitations of a traditional smartphone.
