SJCAM M20 features gyro video stabilization that can produce a very stable video image. With the 166 degrees lens, the sports camera can retain more realistic scene and captures more immersive and wide-angle videos and photos. The equipped processor will provide you with 4K / 24fps video resolution. Who does not need a 4K camera that also offers the option to shoot in Full HD 1080p with 60pfs?
This vertical portrait layout makes holding the M20 with one hand feel more natural and theirs less chance of covering up the lens with your fingers. The ridged plastic grip and soft touch front give the M20 a premium feel whilst improving the overall grip.
The button placement on the M20 is intuitive and easy pick up. Along the top of the device is the power button (also back) and record (also select) whilst along the side, we have up and down arrows to navigate through the options.
Thanks to the clever placement of buttons you can access all of the device features & settings directly from the camera using the crisp 1.5″ onboard display. This display also acts as a digital viewfinder so you can line up your shots and play back videos on the fly.
Overall I’ve been really impressed with the design and build quality that SJCAM have put into the M20. The screen resolution is high enough to produce a clear viewfinder, the build quality is excellent.

The latest firmware available for M20 Action Camera is version 1.3.1.
V1.3.1 Change log
1.Improves App upgrade security and can be future firmware releases can be upgraded via SJCAM Zone (must update to this version though first).
2. Fixes: 720p connecting to App issue.
3. Adds: Low Light Mode: When turned off, frames lock. When turned on in the dark, the frames change at night to make the video lighter.
4) Fixes: OSD conflict with icons.
5) Fixes: fixes after turning off camera, long press power button causes flashing LED.
6) Fixes: When in dashcam mode, when power is turned off, there is an extended 10 second period before power off. When in other modes, the camera will stay powered on when being unplugged from power bank.
You can download stock firmwares for SJCAM M20 Action Camera from here.
To upgrade the firmware properly, follow the steps carefully:
1. Power off the camera.
2. Remove the MicroSD card from the camera.
3. Format the MicroSD card using the FAT32 file format on your computer*.
4. Copy the firmware 'bin' file into the memory card, please keep the firmware 'bin' file's name.
5. Reinsert the SD card to your camera.
6. Connect the camera with charger, the camera will be upgraded automatically. If your battery was full, you do not need to connect the camera with charger.
7. After the firmware update was completed, please delete the 'bin' file.

SJCAM Zone records your best moments, share your happiness! SJCAM Zone integrates your phone with an action camera and lets you download the videos or photos and share them instantaneously. SJCAMZone! app supports all SJCAM models which allow it to connect both SJ4000 WiFi， SJ5000X, M20 and Ambarella series models SJCAM SJ5000+ and upcoming 4k SJCAM Action Camera SJ7 STAR. The user can operate the device through the phone,upload content,use post production tools to edit the videos and share the content on the build-in social sharing network. If your camera cannot connect with the SJCAM App, please upgrade your camera firmware to the latest version.
SJCAM Zone application gives you access to a live stream from the M20, lets you download photos and videos to your phone and change all the camera settings. To connect to the M20 app, you first have to select it from you WiFi settings on Android. Enter the password 12345678 and then open the SJCAM Zone app and select ‘connect to camera’.
