Conclusion
In use you may feel some lag, but it is to be expected that this will be remedied with further updates.

Android 8.1 Oreo OS on the Doogee X70 runs pretty well - transitions, animations, apps switching and general OS fluidity is good, the WiFi speed is very good also. During our tests, we experienced zero force closes, hangups or stability issues. Google Play and gapps are working without issue. Google Play Services updated no problem. 3rd party apps downloaded and updated without issues.

Conclusion
In use, the phone proved to be a capable performer and didn’t stutter or run sluggishly during our brief encounter. The S55 is equipped a lot better than most other rugged smartphones out there, it has lots of features and it also looks pretty good. In terms of ruggedness, the S55 excels in every aspect, it is waterproof, dustproof and can handle lots of drops.

Android 8.0 Oreo OS on the Doogee S55 runs very smooth - transitions, animations, apps switching and general OS fluidity is just great, the WiFi speed is very good, I really like it a lot. During our tests, we experienced zero force closes, hangups or stability issues. Google Play and gapps are working without issue. Oher: The stock firmware runs very smooth and I didn't find any problems. During my tests, I didn't experienced any applications force closes and hangups. Google Play Store and gapps are working just fine. 3rd party apps downloaded and updated without issues.

The launcher looks nice, it is fast, and we have the Google TV right settings menu. There are a very few preinstalled applications, including Google Play Store, RKMC, HappyCast & Clean Master.

In Antutu Benchmark 6.2.7 the device achieves a decent score, about 26.000 points.

Internet speed tested on both WiFi bands got incredible values. For 5 GHz WiFi, the download speed was over 170 Mbps and the upload speed was 195 Mbps. The router used in this test is Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router.
