Unlike traditional smartphones, dual curved display equipped smartphones bring a stunning visual impact for customers. Shortly after the release of Samsung S7 Edge, Huawei Mate 9 Porsche design and Xiaomi Note 2, numerous Chinese manufacturers also launch their handsets with dual curved design. BLUBOO and Elephone are no exception.

Well, today we get two competitors from the aforementioned two Chinese makers, respectively the BLUBOO Edge and the Elephone S7. The two devices look pretty much the same due to the same dual curvy design and shiny back case with lumia wave effect. But surely there are some distinctions to be found. Based on the main parameters, it’s obvious that the Elephone S7 model is more superior, but the BLUBOO Edge with decent configuration could satisfy the general usage requirements. Besides, some adding features of the BLUBOO Edge including massive 256GB microSD expansion, sensitive and accurate dual-layer touch panel, display responding to even gloved or wet hand, rear heart rate sensor monitoring users’ heart rate in real time, rear flash light, etc, are conducive to a better user experience and achieve the desired balance of performance and price. Furthermore, higher configuration comes with higher cost. Even though both devices are budget-friendly, the Elephone S7 is a little more expensive with the retail price ranging from $199.99 to $249.99 while the BLUBOO Edge is priced at $129.99.
