Scishion V88 TV Box at first glance makes a very good impression. It is a small, very well and solidly made TV Box, with great attention to details. TV Box looks really nicely. The housing is made of high quality plastic. On the top cover also we find Scishion logo and V88 model number. The front panel has IR receiver; on one side there are 3 full size  USB 2.0 ports and SD / MMC card slot. Root: Firmware is rooted, with superSu preinstalled - just run it and update binaries.
Oher: The stock firmware is not very smooth and I didn find some problems. During my tests, I experienced som applications force closes and hangups. Google Play and gapps are working without issue. 3rd party apps downloaded and updated without issues.
Storage. Total Capacity: 8 GB of internal Storage,  Total space: 5.49 GB, available: 4.23 GB (77%). The device sees with no problem at all my Mixza Tohaoll 128GB SDXC Micro SD Memory Card.

The launcher looks nice, with big and nice tiles, like in Windows 8.1 / 10 Metro style. There are a lot of preinstalled applications, including Play Store and Google applications (gapps). This firmware version has root acces. 

In Antutu Video Tester 3.0 Scishion V88 TV Box scores 605 points, a good score in this test ranking. It played smoothly almost all video file types; this firmware version fully supports 14 video & audio format files, it partially supports 9 video & audio format files and it doesn't support 7 video & audio format files.

In Antutu Benchmark 6.2.1 the device achieves a decent score, over 21.000 points.

Internet speed tested on both WiFi & Ethernet gets good values. For 2.4 GHz WiFi the download speed was over 20 Mbps and the upload speed almost 22 Mbps. Wired, on Ethernet connection, the download speed is 47 Mbps and the upload speed is 95 Mbps. The router used in this test is Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router. 

Scishion V88  Box is indeed the cheapest TV Box with Android 5.1 powered by Rockchip RK3229, not very impressive overall, but only for a few money you can give it a shot, maybe for you first Android TV Box experience.
