Leagoo Z5 comes with the tagline 'A Simple Path To Change' and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with Leagoo 2.0 OS on top. It flaunts a standard 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6580M quad-core chipset clocking 1.3GHz aided by 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage with storage expansion support up to 128GB.

Leagoo Z5 features a 5MP rear camera with dual LED flash which is kind of a disappointment as most of the affordable smartphones these days feature at least a 13MP shooter. On the front it has a 2MP camera. It comes with dual sim connectivity including other options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1. It is fueled by a 2300mAh battery which the brand claims provide this phone a standby time of 360 hours, usage time of up to 12 hours and video playback time of up to 8 hours.
