As I told you in this article, Probox2 Company send me a few days ago a new Amlogic SA905 Android TV Box: Probox2 Z model. Here you'll find a photo gallery and a video with the unboxing of this nice device.

The TV box has a black plastic exterior case, it is compact and very well organized, with and all the connectors located in the right & rear sides, and the IR receiver & a beautiful power LED in front.

The box came with s905_103L1 older version firmware but now it has latest firmware s905_104L1 firmware. You can download this latest stock firmware version from here and flash firmware according to this video tutorial.
Root: Firmware is rooted, you just have to install SuperSU or Super User  from Playstore.

Probox2 Z Android 5.1 Extreme Media Player

The firmware is just great with a beautiful launcher, one of best in its class till now, with big tiles and easy customisation.

In Antutu Video Tester 3.0 Probox2 Z TV Box scores 905 points, an impressive score in this test ranking. It played smoothly almost all video file types; this firmware version fully supports 27 video & audio format files and it partially supports 3 video & audio format files. In Antutu Benchmark 6.0.1 the device achieves also an amazing score, over 35.500 points.

As you can see, Probox2 Z TV Box is a very good and powerful multimedia player giving you the power to transform your living room into a real 4k Home Theater. 

Internet speed tested on both WiFi & Ethernet gets good values too. For WiFi connection, the download speed was 25 Mbps and the upload speed is 28 Mbps. Wired, on Gigabit Ethernet connection, the download speed was 45 Mbps and the upload speed 51 Mbps. The router used in this test is Xiaomi Mi WiFi Router.
