Hello,
I have a device like this and i edited the build.prop file and now it will not boot. I can not enter recovery by pushing the reset button with a stick. Is there a way i can access the internal memory and overwrite the build.prop file. I made backup before disaster.

Thank you,

Robert.

Hi Stefan,
Thank you for your fast reply. With the help of the site you gave and some and firmware file of this post i managed to create a recovery SD media and restore my bricked M8S box.
Just one remark, maybe useful for other like me. The toothpick method explained on other post is not 100% functional on our devices. I have the model which reboots if the reset button is pressed when powering on. It displays a rebooting yellow text in left lower corner of screen and keeps rebooting so you don't have access to recovery menu.
You have to insert recovery SD created with tool from your post and than hold reset and power on, release reset as soon the logo from screen dissapears. In this case the box will enter straight update mode - still no recovery but at least you can use again your bricked device.

Thanks again Ștefan, i owe you big time.

Wishing you a nice day.

With regards,
Robert.
