Tronfy X6 TV Box - First impressions, Tests & Quick Review



As I told you in this article, Tinydeal Online Store send me a few days ago a new Rockchip RK3368 octa core Android TV Box: Tronfy X6 TV Box model. Here you'll find a photo gallery and a video with the unboxing of this nice device.

The TV box has a black matte plastic exterior case, it is compact and very well organized, with and all the connectors located in the left & rear sides, and the power button on the top. In the front side it has only the IR receiver & a beutiful power LED.

The launcher is great, with big tiles, generic for RK3368 devices. There are a lot of preinstalled applications, including Play Store and Google applications (gapps). This firmware version has root acces, you just have to download and install Super User.

In Antutu Video Tester 3.0 Tronfy X6 TV Box scores 556 points, a good score in this test ranking. It played smoothly almost all video file types; this firmware version fully supports 24 video & audio format files, it partially supports 2 video & audio format files and doesn't manage to play 4 files. In Antutu Benchmark 5.7.1 the device achieves also an amazing score, about 34.000 points.


As you can see, Tronfy X6 TV Box is a very good and powerful multimedia player giving you the power to transform your living room into a real 4k Home Theater. 

Internet speed tested on both WiFi & Ethernet gets good values too. For 2.4 Ghz WiFi connection, the download speed was 32 Mbps and the upload speed is 36 Mbps. For 5 Ghz WiFi connection, the download speed was 45 Mbps and the upload speed is 41 Mbps. Wired, on Gigabit Ethernet connection, the download speed is 51 Mbps and the upload speed is 53 Mbps.
