Dual screen smartphone OUKITEL U6 is starting to accept international pre-orders online. Since Mediatek is still working on the MT6797 Helio20 SoC, OUKITEL will deliver this dual screen smart phone with MT6735M qua-core chipset first.
The OUKITEL U6 features a 5 inch HD display for front screen and 4.7 inch QHD E-ink display on the rear of phone. Same as YotaPhone 2, the E-ink screen is 16 grey level adjustment and 235PPI pixel density. The back screen display is very close to paper effect, when you read novels on the back screen, it’s just like reading a real book.
Android smart phones are most with LCD or LED screen, it’s hard to read under strong sunlight, but with U6, the E-ink screen itself has no light at all, you can enjoy reading under the sun freely. Also it only consumes slight power when you turn pages, saving much power for front screen handling.
The Helio20 SoC version OUKITEL U6 Pro will be delayed to next year, but OUKITEL U6, as the first dual screen smart phone of OUKITEL products, will starts delivery in September. The online retailers like pandawill and gearbest are already accepting pre-orders internationally. The price of OUKITEL U6 Pro has not been decided, but OUKITEL U6 will be sold at $239.99. In order to meet more consumers’ needs to experience the dual screen smart phone; big discounts will be given during presale!
