I flashed this firmware with phoenix usb pro and tablet booted just fine. Then i flashed the second img. file (patch) that came with it and now my tablet is bricked. I tried to reflash another firmware but at 7% phoenix gives me an error. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.

Burn the good firmware on a micro SD card with PhoenixCard v3.06 from here http://chinagadgetsreviews.blogspot.ro/2013/09/download-phoenixcard-v306.html and install it

Thanks for reply. I've tried to flash it with phoenix card (not v3.06 but v3.09) and it starts to flash it but something interrupts it, same as in phoenix usb pro it starts and then suddenly stops. Something in that small img. file caused this. And now It only lets me flash that small img. file (sun6i_prvt.img) via phoenix usb successfully. Maybe that file can be tweaked somehow to revert this issue, or something. Any ideas? I would love to fix this.

That being said, I burned a startup image on 8gb sd via phoenix card and it worked. But the reason I got in this mess in the first place is that none of your bs1078 firmwares did not have usb host enabled in them, and i've tried them all. Keyboard and mouse work fine but USB storage doesn't and a USB gamepad that i've tried doesn't work as well. All of that worked with my stock firmware (20140125).
In the Usb host controller app it says "s3c usb host driver" missing.
If you can put this driver in the next firmware somehow update that would be great.

Thank you for reading and God bless.
