I do not yet have any experience with changing Android firmware. My tablet has 2 16GB flash devices internally, but allocates only 2GB to the /data partition which significantly limits the number of apps I can install. Can I somehow use this firmware to increase the size of my /data partition? Can you recommend a backup strategy so that my existing firmware can be restored in case the new firmware does not work?
